It’s me Robert! Your hair’s best friend.
After over three decades behind the chair, I was forced to step away from the career I loved. Ten years ago, I broke my spine. For years, I tried to return to salon work, hiding the injury and pushing through the pain—but I kept reinjuring myself. Eventually, I had to stop and focus fully on healing.
Even while I was away from the chair, I never stepped away from the craft. I continued to attend education workshops and academies—locally and internationally—because hair and learning have always been my passion. I knew, deep down, that I would return to the industry when the time was right. That time is now. My hands remember the work. My eye for detail and colour remains sharp. And my heart is fully in it.
Now, I’m coming back in a way that respects both my craft and my body. I’ll be working Saturdays in a quiet, second-floor private studio in Vancouver, offering thoughtful cuts, colour, and a calm space for real connection. I’m rebuilding with intention and inviting new clients who value experience, creativity, and care.
If you’re looking for a stylist who sees you—not just your hair—I’d love to welcome you into my chair.
